Baidu Health releases the country's first task-oriented medical AI assistant, embedded with the "Lobster" mode.

Mars Finance News. On April 2, it was learned from Baidu Health that its AI product for the doctor community, “Yi Physician Assistant,” was officially released this morning. The product is the first all-scenario doctor work platform in China that deeply integrates authoritative medical retrieval with task-oriented AI execution. “Yi Physician Assistant” includes two core modes: retrieval and task. The retrieval mode is supported by tens of millions of medical data to enable authoritative, evidence-based traceability, and is committed to building a “China version of OpenEvidence.” The task mode is based on the Claw framework, which can independently complete complex tasks such as academic research, paper writing, and patient follow-ups, enabling medical AI to make a leap from “information retrieval” to “task completion.” Baidu Health also revealed that “Yi Physician Assistant” has opened the retrieval mode experience on the app side, while the task mode is gradually being rolled out for use.
