The world's first transport ship capable of carrying over 10,000 cars is today undergoing a test voyage.

People’s Finance News March 31, March 31, CSSC Guangzhou Shipbuilding International’s 10,800-car LNG dual-fuel vehicle carrier (PCTC) No. 1, built for Korea’s HMM, set out on a sea trial, which is the first 10,000-car-class dual-fuel vehicle carrier under construction in the world at present. The vessel uses an oil and LNG dual-fuel propulsion system and is equipped with a shaft generator, enabling it to generate electricity while sailing, thereby achieving energy savings and emissions reductions. The vessel has outstanding environmental performance and meets the International Maritime Organization Tier III emission standards. (CCTV News)
