Abstract generation in progress

To firmly strengthen the financial consumer protection safety line and precisely safeguard the lawful rights and interests of workers, recently, Cangzhou Bank’s Hengshui Shenzhou Sub-branch has assembled a team of professional financial public speakers. It brought its special lesson on “Consumer Rights Protection” into the on-site work and daily life of sanitation workers, using the most down-to-earth approach to popularize financial knowledge, explain rights protection, and deliver social warmth through caring services—helping the vast number of workers keep a firm hold on their own “money bags.”

At the briefing site, the sub-branch staff closely focused on the core content of the “Consumer Rights Protection Law,” and around the eight rights of financial consumers, combined with real-life consumption and financial transaction scenarios of sanitation workers to break down and interpret them one by one. From “never disclose verification codes for unknown calls” to “don’t click suspicious links or scan unknown links,” from “recognizing high-yield traps in retirement wealth management” to “guidance on channels for safeguarding rights in consumer disputes,” every knowledge point was paired with real cases, and every suggestion matched practical needs, making it easy to understand yet packed with valuable takeaways.

“Before, I was always afraid that if I ran into a scam and didn’t know how to respond, but after listening to the bank’s explanation today, I finally can tell real and fake wealth management apart, and I also know how to protect my own rights. I feel especially at ease!” Sanitation workers at the site said in unison. This briefing both addressed the problem of not knowing and also filled the shortcoming of not knowing how to prevent. It is not only the dissemination of knowledge, but also considerate care. During the briefing, the sub-branch staff also distributed financial knowledge publicity handbooks, and provided one-on-one answers on the spot to sanitation workers’ specific questions about using social security cards, deposit safety, anti-fraud and anti-scam measures, and more—teaching everyone step by step how to identify risks and protect their lawful rights and interests.

This rights protection activity for sanitation workers is a vivid practice of Cangzhou Bank’s Hengshui Shenzhou Sub-branch in living up to its original mission of “finance for the people” and proactively fulfilling social responsibility. For a long time, Cangzhou Bank has consistently served local residents, focusing on key groups such as seniors, sanitation workers, and practitioners in new business formats. It has carried out “Financial Knowledge Goes to the Community” activities on a regular basis. Through briefing formats that are “down-to-earth, full of warmth, and truly feasible,” it has connected and delivered the dissemination of financial knowledge to the “last mile,” so that financial services genuinely benefit people’s livelihoods.

In the next step, Cangzhou Bank’s Hengshui Shenzhou Sub-branch will continue to deepen consumer rights protection work, continuously optimize briefing content and innovate service models. It will create “customized” rights protection courses for different groups, and with more precise service and more caring measures, safeguard the financial consumer safety of the broad city residents.
