Mars Finance reports that on April 2nd, Baidu Health launched Medical Assistant, the country's first doctor task-oriented AI assistant built on the Claw framework, commonly known as the "Lobster" doctor version. Unlike general AI assistants, Medical Assistant pioneered a dual-engine mode of retrieval and task execution, enabling the doctor AI assistant to transition from "single dialogue" to a new stage of "task execution."

On April 2, Baidu Health released an “AI medical assistant with a doctor.” This is the first domestic doctor-focused, task-based AI assistant built on the Claw framework, popularly known as the “lil’ lobster” version for doctors. Unlike general-purpose AI assistants, the medical assistant pioneered a dual-engine retrieval + task model, enabling the doctor AI assistant to move from “single-turn conversation” to a new stage of “task execution.”
