Hey, it looks like New York is about to experience a major change in the weather. These days, it will still be gray, with low clouds and some drizzle, but by Sunday, it will start to really change. According to the Weather Service, when that cold front passes on Sunday night, drier air will move in and temperatures will rise. We're talking about around 60°F in the city, which would be the first time since November that it reaches that. Nothing extraordinary, but after so much cold, it's a relief. The interesting part comes next week — by Monday, you'll already feel the change, and by Tuesday or Wednesday, some areas to the west could reach nearly 70°F. Of course, it depends a lot on the wind and whether the sea breeze slows down the warm air. The coasts will stay cooler due to the ocean. Anyway, after several months of unstable weather, this heat warning from meteorologists sounds good. The heat alert could intensify if the pattern solidifies as they expect.
