Dubai Launches Self-Driving Taxi Service In Umm Suqeim, Jumeirah

Dubai will now begin commercial use of self-driving taxis for customers in two areas of the emirate, the RTA announced on Monday, March 30.

The service will be available in Umm Suqeim and Jumeirah, in partnership with Apollo Go company and WeRide.

WeRide vehicles will be available through the Uber app, with Tolool for Transportation company taking on fleet management and operations duties.
