On March 29, the Fifth Second Members’ Representatives Conference of the Shanghai New Hu Shang Association and the Second New Hu Shang High-Quality Development Conference were held in Shanghai. Wang Xiaohan, Executive Deputy Minister of the Shanghai Municipal United Front Work Department and Director of the Shanghai Municipal Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, attended and delivered remarks.

Wang Xiaohan noted that in the opening year of the “15th Five-Year Plan,” the Shanghai New Hu Shang Association should fully play the role of a bridge and bond, guide businesses to firmly strengthen their confidence in development, and further enhance concrete services and standardized governance.

He emphasized the need to help enterprises pursue specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative development and a path of high-quality growth, support companies as they set sail overseas, and that the Municipal United Front Work Department will, as always, support the chamber of commerce and the development of private enterprises. Finally, he expressed his expectation that the New Hu Shang will make new contributions again in helping Shanghai build a hub for new quality productive forces,
