Arkham: EdgeX Airdrop Allegedly Nearly Half Went to Partners and LPs

ChainCatcher message: Arkham posted on the X platform stating that EdgeX currently has about 69.5% of its supply stored in addresses that were directly transferred out of the initial developer wallet; some of this may belong to market makers, and in the future it could be moved to exchanges.

Separately, another 7% of the supply remains in the airdrop wallet and has not yet been allocated, suggesting that the current actual circulating ratio is only about 9.5%. EdgeX has nominally airdropped about $195 million to users, but after on-chain analysts questioned it, the project team acknowledged that 14% of the total supply was actually allocated to partners and liquidity providers, which at the current valuation is about $94.6 million, accounting for nearly half of the total airdrop amount.
