Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 2 (Reporter Zhou Yuan) — It was reported on April 2 that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, together with relevant departments, has recently launched the 2026 “Yi Qi Yi QI” (Together to Benefit Enterprises) SME service action. Focusing on the pain points and difficulties SMEs face in implementing policies, cultivating and attracting talent, financing and investment, technological innovation, and digital-and-intelligent transformation, the action will roll out service measures to help SMEs reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve quality and capacity for upgrading.

The action includes promoting direct and fast access to preferential policies for enterprises, and carrying out a special campaign to clean up and standardize policy measures related to charges imposed on businesses; accelerating enterprises’ digital-and-intelligent transformation by, based on classification and tiering, carrying out inclusive programs for “going to the cloud, using data to empower, and granting intelligence” for SMEs, as well as digital upgrades for key scenarios and systematic integration; and organizing activities for large and medium-sized and small enterprises to connect and match through business-to-business integration under the program “Hundreds of Sessions, Thousands of Enterprises.”

The action will also focus on pairing industry with finance for advantage and featured sectors and key industrial chains, strengthen the construction of “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” (specialized) boards in regional equity markets; carry out special talent service actions for SMEs, hold national online recruitment campaigns for college graduates over 100 days for SMEs, and conduct the “Excellent Enterprises Enter Campuses to Recruit Talent and Enable Innovation” special action; and train about 800 SME business and management leading talents throughout the year.

It is understood that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will, in the next step, strengthen departmental coordination and promote cooperation between the central and local governments, and effectively advance service resources into enterprises, using high-quality services to support the high-quality development of SMEs.
