ME News message, April 6 (UTC+8), the Cosmos ecosystem DEX Osmosis posted on X, stating that it has updated the Cosmos Hub proposal according to validator and community feedback. The largest change is that it will no longer mint new ATOM. The required ATOM will be gradually purchased in the open market through Osmosis DEX protocol revenue for OSMO/ATOM conversions. The total acquisition scale remains limited to within <2.5% of the total ATOM supply. The proposal is currently in the Cosmos Hub governance discussion stage. Foresight News previously reported that Osmosis said it has put forward a major proposal to directly bring Osmosis into Cosmos Hub. If both chains’ governance approvals are obtained, the Osmosis DEX will natively migrate to the Hub, thereby unifying liquidity, governance, and security on a single chain. (Source: Foresight News)
