At the time of SpaceX’s propulsion IPO, CEO Elon Musk posted on the social media platform X that there are 4 to 6 weeks left before SpaceX’s next “Starship” test launch, meaning the next test launch of the Starship V3 model will take place in the first two weeks of May, rather than April as originally planned.

To improve the reliability of the spacecraft and make it better suited for missions such as NASA’s moon landings, dozens of upgrades have been integrated into the spacecraft, causing SpaceX’s planned “Starship” V3 version to be delayed by several months.

“Starship” is SpaceX’s next-generation rocket. It is designed to be fully reusable and to carry a payload far greater than what SpaceX’s “Falcon” rockets can handle.
