๐Ÿ”ฅU.S. Department of Justice rejects Tornado Cash developer's latest plea to dismiss charges


On April 8, according to Decrypt, the U.S. Department of Justice expressed opposition on Tuesday to Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm's request to dismiss criminal charges, stating that the Supreme Court's recent ruling is unrelated to this case. Storm's attorneys previously cited a new Supreme Court decision to support their motion to dismiss, but the prosecution noted in a letter to the federal judge that the ruling pertains to different circumstances and industries and should not affect this case. The case may enter a retrial phase.
