Digital Realty has opened its first Asia Pacific Innovation Lab (DRIL) in Tokyo, Japan, located at the NRT12 data center. This lab, established through a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation, aims to accelerate the deployment of AI and hybrid cloud architectures by providing a production-grade environment for testing and optimizing infrastructure, including direct liquid cooling. The initiative supports Japan’s growing investment in AI and semiconductor technologies and allows businesses to evaluate high-density workloads and integrate with Digital Realty’s global platform, ServiceFabric®.
