China Southern Airlines' 10th domestically-produced C919 aircraft enters service

Recently, China Southern Airlines’ 10th C919 domestically produced aircraft has officially entered service. As of March 1, 2026, China Southern Airlines’ C919 has flown 7,800 flights, carrying more than 1.06 million passengers in total. Currently, it is operating on nine regular commercial routes, including Guangzhou to Beijing Daxing, Xi’an, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Changsha, Wuhan, as well as Changsha to Beijing Daxing and Shanghai Pudong. Since China Southern Airlines’ C919 was officially put into commercial operation, it has connected 17 cities, with a flight punctuality rate of 96%. At present, China Southern Airlines has completed 18 batches of flight-crew conversion and training for the C919 aircraft type, having trained a total of 125 C919 pilots. With the continued delivery and introduction of new aircraft, China Southern Airlines’ C919 flight schedules and operated routes will continue to “add new routes” and “expand service.”
