From a medium- to long-term perspective, the current position of “Big Pancake” is no longer simply a technical back-and-forth—it has clearly moved into a stage driven by “sentiment + events.”

Today, the Iran–U.S. ceasefire officially came into effect, and further talks are planned to take place on the 10th. On the surface, this is a signal that tensions may ease, but the real key lies in—uncertainty about the outcome. If the talks succeed, it will release a phased positive catalyst; if they fail, it could again trigger a sharp surge in risk-aversion sentiment. No matter which path it takes, it will bring a significant impact to the entire crypto market, and this impact is often amplified over a short period.

Back to the chart itself, you can clearly feel a phenomenon:
In the recent so-called bearish news, there has not been sustained selling pressure. More often, it has only been emotional probing; instead, whenever a positive news item actually lands, the market quickly responds with a surge on increased volume. This shows that the current market is not short of funds—it lacks a direction with certainty.

Behind this is the essence of it—trading chips are still being contested at high levels, and both bulls and bears are waiting for a “trigger point.”

So in this kind of environment, if you want to do a medium- to long-term “top-fishing,” you must not simply look at a single location and blindly short. Instead, you need a complete trading plan:

First, build positions in batches, not all-in at once.
In a sentiment-driven market, it’s easy to see moves that overshoot expectations. Going heavy early will only leave you stuck in a passive position.

Second, clearly define your stop-loss range.
Medium- to long-term doesn’t mean you can hold positions indefinitely. Once the outcome of an event deviates from expectations, you must make a decisive correction.

Third, wait for confirmation of sentiment, not guess sentiment.
The real top often does not form when people are questioning things. Instead, it tends to form when everyone is bullish and sentiment is extremely euphoric.

Fourth, pay attention to event timing.
The talks on the 10th are essentially a time window. Before and after that, the market’s pace and rhythm may be completely different.

In summary, the Big Pancake right now is more like: rising within expectations, but differentiating in the outcome.
You can take a bearish view, but you can’t blindly short; you can fish for the top, but the prerequisite is—having a plan, a rhythm, and an exit route.

The market will never make you money just because you guessed the direction correctly. What truly determines the result is always execution and risk control.
