According to a report from Deep-to-City Communications, recently, Shenzhen City Communications Technology Group Co., Ltd., led the effort and, together with Sun Yat-sen University · Shenzhen and the Institute of Advanced Research at Southern University of Science and Technology (Shenzhen), jointly built the “Key Laboratory of Shenzhen Low-Altitude Intelligent Transportation Operation System,” which has been officially approved and unveiled. It is understood that, as the first approved key laboratory in Shenzhen’s low-altitude economy sector, the laboratory is committed to breaking through the bottlenecks in operational efficiency and safety resilience of low-altitude transportation under large-scale flight conditions. It will build an end-to-end intelligent control and safety assurance system for low-altitude flights. This laboratory is an important part of Deep-to-City Communications’ research and development platform system, using hard-core technology to construct a ground-air integrated smart transportation system with low-altitude and autonomous driving as key focuses. It will help Shenzhen build an innovation stronghold to establish development benchmarks for the low-altitude economy nationwide, and support Shenzhen in leading the country’s new landscape for the low-altitude industry.
