Industry insiders: Apple's first foldable screen phone project is progressing normally, with the product to be released in the second half of the year

On April 6, media reports said Foxconn is currently testing production of Apple’s first foldable-screen phone. In response, on April 7, people in Apple’s supply chain told a reporter that the plan for Apple’s first foldable-screen phone project was already set long ago, and that the project is now being advanced normally. Trial production is a required stage before a product’s official mass production; it generally must go through engineering validation, design validation, and production trial-production validation, and then proceed to full-scale mass production. Under the normal advancement schedule, the product will be released this fall. (Securities Times)
