What keeps me committed to trading?

Sometimes people around me ask:
"Since you've already achieved success, why do you still spend so much time trading?"

Honestly, I've asked myself that question more than once.
Of course, I could say "to make money"—but that's not the truth.

Money is just a tool.
The real answer goes far beyond that.

I used to live on someone else's schedule: work, study, social commitments, others' expectations.

Waking up in the middle of the night, rushing around, wasting time during commutes, relying on weekends to recharge.

Always feeling like my life is rushing past me, but I can't grasp a thing.

Trading has given me what I was always missing: freedom.

The freedom to choose—whether to have breakfast with my kids or go to the gym, instead of rushing to squeeze onto the subway for work.
Living in the moment—no longer postponing life to "later."

But most importantly: trading has given me confidence.

A certainty that "income and life depend only on myself"—relying on my discipline and trading system.
Not depending on a boss, market trends, or news.

For me, trading has long surpassed a mere means of making a living.

It teaches me patience, sharpens my character, trains emotional control, and pushes me to grow—not just as a trader, but as a person.

That is the true motivation that keeps me going.
It's not the percentage on the screen, nor the numbers in the reports.

It's the confidence of "living by my own rules."
The sense of security in controlling my time, work, and future.

For me, trading is not just about making money.
It's about the possibility to be with loved ones and build a life according to my own wishes.

That's why I will keep moving forward.
