Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 9—On April 7, 2026, according to documents disclosed by the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Yuga Labs and defendants Ryder Ripps and Jeremy Cahen have reached a settlement agreement resolving all litigation claims under case number 2:22-cv-04355. The case stems from 2022, when Yuga Labs accused the two defendants of issuing counterfeit RR/BAYC series NFTs based on the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), allegedly infringing trademarks. The parties will soon file with the court a proposed consent injunction, which is one of the terms of the settlement, and the case will be officially concluded.
