The Israeli military claims to have killed an Iranian militia commander inside Lebanon.

On the evening of the 18th, local time, the Israel Defense Forces announced that, in an airstrike in Beirut, Lebanon, the day before, its forces killed a commander of an Iranian militia group “Imam Hossein Brigade,” who was “fighting alongside Hezbollah.” The commander’s name was Hassan Ali Marwan. During his lifetime, he was mainly responsible for coordinating the militia group’s joint operations with Lebanon’s Hezbollah and directing attacks targeting Israel and the Israel Defense Forces.
