For the week ending March 27, U.S. EIA crude oil inventories were 5.451 million barrels, compared with the expected 814,000 barrels and a previous value of 6.926 million barrels. For the week ended March 27, the U.S. EIA crude oil inventory was 545.1 ten-thousand barrels, versus expectations of 81.4 ten-thousand barrels and a prior reading of 692.6 ten-thousand barrels.
