CoinWorld.net, April 9 — The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on the 8th that they are closely monitoring the announcement of a two-week ceasefire by the United States and Iran, and emphasized that Iran should adhere to its commitments to ensure the safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz. The statement said that over the past 40 days, attacks on infrastructure, energy facilities, and civilian targets have caused casualties and property damage. Those responsible should be held accountable and compensated. A comprehensive and sustained approach should be taken to address regional security threats, including nuclear issues, ballistic missiles, and drones, while maintaining maritime security and preventing disruptions to navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE also emphasized that it is not a party to the conflict and is actively engaging in diplomatic efforts through bilateral channels and mechanisms such as the Gulf Cooperation Council to prevent escalation.
