Newtec Electric and Tsinghua University jointly establish the Solid-State Transformer Joint Research Center
People’s Finance News, April 8: According to Xinte Electric, Xinte Electric and Tsinghua University jointly established a Solid-State Transformer Joint Research Center. The Joint Research Center will focus its R&D efforts on application scenarios characterized by high growth potential and high technical barriers, including: power-electronics equipment supporting energy-storage systems; direct connection of green electricity and efficient integration of new energy; power supply systems for data centers (high-frequency SST, high-capacity medium-frequency DCT); key transformer equipment for photovoltaic grid integration and flexible transmission. Through technological breakthroughs, it will enable the deployment of a new generation of power equipment with higher efficiency, higher power density, stronger controllability, and better power quality.
