CoinWorld reports that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has appointed David Woodcock as the head of enforcement, replacing Margaret Ryan, who resigned in March. Previously, some lawmakers questioned whether Ryan’s departure was connected to the SEC’s withdrawal of multiple cryptocurrency enforcement cases, including a fraud case involving a platform associated with the Trump family. In its latest report, the SEC said that in some cryptocurrency enforcement cases, “no direct investor harm was found.”
