ME News announcement, April 5 (UTC+8). The latest analysis from the Brazilian crypto exchange Mercado Bitcoin shows that within two months after major global crises, Bitcoin’s performance has often outperformed traditional safe-haven assets such as gold. The study analyzed a 60-day window after economic or geopolitical shocks, finding that Bitcoin’s returns in each period were higher than those of gold and the S&P 500 index. The analysis says that although Bitcoin has higher volatility, it always rebounds quickly after a crisis, and it is the best-performing asset over the past decade. (Source: PANews)
