Kuwait's Ministry of Defense reports that 67 soldiers have been injured.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense said on the 5th that, as of now, under the current situation, a total of 67 members of the country’s armed forces have been injured. It said that Kuwaiti airspace has monitored and dealt with 212 ballistic missiles and 394 drones. In a first media briefing on the current situation, Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense spokesperson Saoud Al-Attwan said that the Kuwaiti armed forces have 67 people injured, that all wounded personnel have received the necessary medical care, and that their health conditions are stable. He said that Kuwait’s armed forces are currently in the highest state of readiness and are carrying out missions around the clock. As of now, the military has monitored and dealt with 212 ballistic missiles and 394 drones in Kuwaiti airspace. “The armed forces have intercepted and dealt with these targets in the relevant operational areas.” After the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran on February 28, Iran launched drones and missiles in response at targets such as U.S. military bases and embassies in the Gulf region, and some Gulf countries were affected.
