Foreign journalists kidnapped in Iraq have been released

Reporters learned on the 7th local time that, according to a source from an Iraqi Shia militia group, the “Al-Ahd Brigades” has released the American journalist who had previously been kidnapped and demanded that he must leave Iraq immediately. On March 31 local time, the Iraqi Ministry of the Interior issued a statement saying that a foreign journalist was kidnapped in Baghdad that day by people of unknown identity. Late on the 31st, Iraqi police confirmed that the foreign journalist kidnapped in central Baghdad that day was named Shelly Kittleson, and that he holds a U.S. passport. ( CCTV News )
