Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu delivered a video speech on the evening of March 31, stating that Israel has “dealt a heavy blow” to Iran, and also mentioned that Israel is establishing some “new regional alliances” to counter the “Iranian threat.” Netanyahu listed Israel’s achievements against Iran, including weakening Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile program, infrastructure, domestic security forces, and leadership. He also referenced Israel’s military actions against the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthi forces in Yemen, and Palestinian armed groups in the West Bank, claiming that Israel has established extensive “buffer zones” in Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon. Netanyahu said that, in addition to deepening the U.S.-Israel alliance, “we are creating some new alliances with important regional countries to counter the common Iranian threat.” He did not provide specific details. According to Israeli analysis, Netanyahu’s speech may be a preparatory propaganda strategy in case the U.S. decides to end the conflict with Iran. (CCTV News)
