Mars Finance reports that on April 11, a senior White House official said that the United States, Pakistan, and Iran will hold face-to-face three-way talks today. Vance, Kushner, and Vitkov met with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi, and at least one Pakistani official. In addition to Vance, Vitkov, and Kushner, the U.S. delegation to Iran also includes Dr. Andrew Becker, Deputy National Security Advisor and Vice President’s National Security Advisor, as well as Michael Vance, Special Advisor to the Vice President on Asian Affairs. A broader delegation also includes experts in relevant U.S. fields—both experts working on the ground in Islamabad and experts providing support in Washington.
