$ETH ’s sudden drop like this isn’t surprising. What’s truly unexpected is that many people are only reacting now. The earlier highs looked exciting, but every time the market rallied, it didn’t last. The feel from the order book is that the main players are distributing at the top.

After opening a short around 2111.63, what I focused on was the strength of the pullback. As long as any rebound can’t retake the key level zone, there’s reason to keep holding the short. The current price is 1877.29; the +1928.92% has already been realized, and the market’s room for movement has been released faster than expected.

I won’t blindly add to my position here. In the profit-taking phase, the most important thing is not to get overly inflated. The 80/20 staged approach fits this kind of sharp selloff best: lock in the bulk first, then follow with the remaining portion using protective stops. If the pullback is too strong, don’t stubbornly hold—trading isn’t about pride.

If you haven’t gotten in yet, don’t be driven by profit. Don’t chase trades—neither chase longs blindly nor chase shorts randomly. Wait for the next time there’s a truly certain opportunity.
