Central Committee and State Council: Relax market access to digital sector

On November 28, the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued opinions on the reform, innovation and development of digital trade. It mentioned the opening up of the digital market. Improving the pre-access national treatment plus negative list management model, promoting orderly expansion of opening up in the fields of telecommunications, the internet, culture, etc., and encouraging foreign investment in the digital sector. Thoroughly removing market access barriers and improving the facilitation level of foreign-invested enterprises in the field of digital trade in domestic investment and operation.
