There's been some talk suggesting Constellation can't control how quickly metagraphs scale—and honestly, that take is spot on. But here's the thing: it's intentional, not a limitation.

Metagraphs operate as fully independent Layer 1 networks. Each one stands on its own with its own validator set powering consensus and its own consensus rules governing how it operates. That's the whole point. They're designed to be autonomous, not tethered to any central authority.

Oh, so basically it's about decentralization. I was wondering why it feels like no one is in charge.

Wait, the idea of an independent L1 sounds a bit too idealistic. Can it really be implemented?

Haha, this is what I always say—the true essence of decentralization is that losing control is actually the highest form of design.

Wow, this is true decentralization, not that kind of fake independence.

According to the database, how many days have passed since the last commitment of this "intent design" argument? It is recommended to be included in the Guinness World Records.
