Lately I've been thinking again about whether grid/DCA or a single trade is more suitable for someone like me who has shallow sleep. Honestly, a single trade is satisfying, but that little horn in my head keeps ringing: Should I add? Should I run? I keep flipping my phone three times a night... Grid/DCA is like tying myself to a seatbelt, less exciting, but my heartbeat can come down. Anyway, if the trend really comes, I can still take profits in batches, and if the wind is strong, I’ll just land first.
The set of RWA, US Treasury yields, and on-chain yield products being compared together makes me want to laugh: on the surface, they are all “returns,” but behind the scenes, they actually involve different risks and sleep quality. My approach is still somewhat clumsy: only positions that let me sleep well are worth holding for a longer time.
What I fear missing the most isn’t actually opportunities, but that sense of helplessness after messing up my life rhythm.
