US media: Anthropic teams up with IBM to seize the enterprise-level AI market

On October 7, Jin10 reported that Anthropic announced on Tuesday that it will collaborate with IBM (IBM.N) to integrate its artificial intelligence models into IBM's software ecosystem. The two parties hope to combine this emerging AI startup with traditional IT giants. IBM's latest Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is the first product to directly utilize Anthropic's flagship ClaudeAI model. The tool aims to assist software engineers working in large enterprises and help automate development tasks, such as modernizing code. IBM stated that it plans to add Claude to more software soon. As part of the protocol, IBM will also create a guide to help businesses build and expand their use of AI agents (Bots that can perform tasks independently). The guide includes an Open Source standard launched by Anthropic—the Model Context Protocol (MCP)—for connecting the model to external systems.
