Popular crypto analysts are all debating on where the price of BTC will go next, while these views differ from bullish to bearish, one factor most analysts are certain about is that altcoins will see a bullish pump. So, analysts come together to reveal expectations for 2026, as 2025 ends, 2026 could be a lot more bullish, especially for altcoins and their prices. Will altseason finally make its arrival in 2026?

Analysts Come Together to Reveal Expectations for 2026

As the final month of the year nears its conclusion, analysts set about debating the possibilities for the coming year. Will the price of BTC hit new ATH prices, or is it finally time for altcoins to take the spotlight? According to one analyst, the only asset that still hasn’t seen true expansion is Ethereum (ETH), while everything else, including Bitcoin (BTC), stocks, silver, and gold, have all gone ballistic.

The same analyst says that what’s likely to happen next is for ETH to pull off a BTC-style run and steal the spotlight, which will finally drag all altcoin prices up with it in Q1 2026. During this time, BTC is expected to move sideways and lose strength against ETH. He expects the same narrative from the previous cycle to play out where ETH will flip BTC, leading to cycle top prices for all altcoins in the arrival of the altseason peak phase.

Many ask my stance on $BTC for Q1 2026, so here it is.

For me $BTC has already topped at 126K.

I do not see $BTC making a new ATH.

For Q1 2026, my stance gravitates toward $ETH and #ALTS outperforming $BTC.

Scenario 1

I expect $BTC to take the liquidity cluster at 70–74K,… https://t.co/j9iJUltmM6

As we can see from the post above, this analyst confirms that BTC topped at $126,000, and won’t make a new ATH. Instead, the analyst expects ETH and altcoins to outperform Bitcoin (BTC). He expects two possible scenarios, the first where BTC will take the liquidity cluster at the $70,000 – $74,000 price range and move back to $108,000 – $112,000. During that move, ETH and altcoin will make their run, he says.

Altcoin Pump Possibility Stands Strong

In the second scenario, he expects BTC to move sideways above $95,000 and turn into support. After this, ETH and altcoins will go green and outperform BTC which can go as high as $112,000 again. All in all, the analyst expects ETH to close this bull cycle alongside new altcoin ATH prices as well.

My 2026 plan for #Altcoins.

Lots of coins share this structure, $SEI, $SUI and $TAO. Impulse wave completed around that time and it’s been nothing but down since then.

It’s been a bear market for them for almost 2 years now.

2026, we start a lesser degree 1 but how long… https://t.co/FC0WFU7Uwx pic.twitter.com/BcMk6u4qBv

Another reputed analyst seems to have a similar idea and shares his plan for altcoin trading in 2026. As we can see from the post above, he says that lots of coins are currently printing a bullish structure, including SEI, SUI, and TAO. He marks an impulse wave completed around that time, and says that it has been nothing but down price movements since then. He concludes by saying that 2026 should allow a more bullish opportunity for the altcoin market.
