Celestia's blob size has risen 10 times in the past two weeks

ChainCatcher message, in the past two weeks, the number of blobs on Celestia has continued to increase significantly. The size of blobs on Celestia can be interchangeably referred to as the number of blobs published on Celestia. Between June 20th and December 20th, 2024, the average size of Blobs on Celestia is about 1.18 GB. However, in the past two weeks, this number has almost multiplied by ten, averaging 11.4 GB. The nearly tenfold increase in Blob size may be due to NFT minting that occurred during this period, as well as more projects choosing Celestia as their data availability layer. Similarly, during this period, the daily trading volume on Celestia has also increased significantly. Within the same time frame (June 20th to December 20th), the average daily trading volume on Celestia is about 44,000 times. Over the past two weeks, this number has grown by over 60%, with a daily average trading volume of 71,000 times.
