We’ve killed hobbies by turning everything into “monetization.” People used to just paint, play guitar, or bake cakes because they enjoyed it. Now the first question you hear is: “Oh, cool! Do you sell this? Do you have a blog about it?” We no longer allow ourselves to just have fun. If an activity doesn’t bring money or likes, it’s seen as a waste of time. That’s sad.

Why did no one tell me credit card debt just dies with you? My friend's grandma died with $40K in credit card debt. He called them and said, 'She's dead. She can't pay.' They just said, 'Okay.' And that was it.
UNPOPULAR OPINION: A COMPANY THAT GIVES ITS CEO A $20 MILLION BONUS THE SAME YEAR IT CUTS THE PENSION OF ITS RETIREES SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED, NOT CELEBRATED.
I once heard my boss say to another employee “You know Greg, you’re not the sharpest pencil in the box” and without skipping a beat the guy replied “Well boss, a sharp pencil is a sign it ain’t never done a lick of work”. I still think about that to this day.
Maturing is realizing you can do things at the “wrong” time. It’s almost 4am & im bout to go work out bc this is when i feel like working out. Why do i have to wait for a “normal” time?
