A Historic Record Was Broken in Bitcoin Options: It May Have Provided a Big Clue for the BTC Price in June and September!

The Crypto option analysis company GreeksLive announced in its latest report that the largest block option transaction in the Bitcoin market has taken place so far.

In this transaction, which reached a nominal value of 1.19 billion dollars, a position of 11,350 BTC was opened, and only a premium of 7.5 million dollars was paid.

The block transaction consisted of two parts:

• Firstly, with the September futures bull spread of 3,800 contracts, investors expect an increase in both price and volatility in the long term.
• Secondly, the sale of the June at-the-money (ATM) call options was carried out. This sale creates calendar spreads along with September calls and indicates that the bullish expectation for June ( is limited in the short term.

GreeksLive summarized this transaction as follows:

“This options block transaction of approximately 1.2 billion dollars indicates that the upward movement may be limited in June, while signaling a strong upward potential of up to 50% in the third quarter.”

The BTC price is trading at approximately 7% lower than its all-time high of $111,970 at the moment this article was written.
