Odaily News The ERC-8004 proposal has been released, named “Trustless Agents”. This proposal is based on the agent-to-agent protocol (A 2 A), providing trust assurance for autonomous AI agents by establishing three registries (identification, reputation, verification) on-chain. The goal of ERC-8004 is to allow unfamiliar agents to interact securely based on Ethereum’s immutable ledger, ensuring that identities are verifiable, actions are traceable, and operations are provable. The proposal suggests that Ethereum will become the “trust foundation” of the machine economy, smart contracts will be the way for humans to communicate with AI, and AI agents will collaborate through Ethereum’s shared “immutable memory.”
