U.S. Department of Justice releases Epstein case investigation documents, redacting information of over a thousand victims and their families
Golden Finance reports that the U.S. Department of Justice has begun releasing investigation documents related to the Epstein case. The Department of Justice added a note on the webpage where the documents are posted, stating that they have “made every reasonable effort” to redact the personal information of victims, but warned that some information may be unintentionally disclosed. It is reported that Deputy Attorney General Blancé stated in a letter to Congress that during a comprehensive review of the files, the DOJ identified over 1,200 victims and their families, and all relevant names and identifying information have been legally removed. Blancé also mentioned earlier that on the 19th, tens of thousands of documents will be released, but full disclosure may take “several weeks.” (CCTV News)
