On Tuesday, July 28, as the Federal Reserve opened its FOMC policy meeting, U.S. Treasury yields declined across the curve. The 10-year yield dropped 5.06 basis points to 4.5981%, while the 2-year yield fell 5.17 basis points to 4.2706%, and the 30-year yield declined 4.58 basis points to 5.0907%. Late trading in New York saw accelerated selling pressure, with the 10-year yield testing a session low of 4.5860%.
