Oman states that it has signed an agreement to not charge ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz

BlockBeats message, April 8, local time on the 8th, Oman’s Minister of Transportation, Communications, and Information Technology Mawali said at a consultation meeting that Oman has signed an agreement related to international maritime shipping. Under the provisions of the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz is a natural passageway and fees may not be charged to vessels transiting through it. He also noted that, at present, Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is communicating and consulting with all parties on the relevant issues. (CCTV News)
