Golden Finance reported that Anthropic announced the launch of “Project Glasswing,” an emergency initiative designed to protect the world’s most critical software security. It is supported by Anthropic’s latest model, Claude Mythos Preview, whose performance in discovering software vulnerabilities has already surpassed the vast majority of human experts, coming only behind the very top technical professionals. Anthropic has established partnerships with Amazon Web Services, Apple, Broadcom, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Google, JPMorgan Chase, the Linux Foundation, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Palo Alto Networks, and will jointly use Mythos Preview to help identify and fix flaws in systems. Mythos Preview has already found thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities, including some in major operating systems and web browsers.
