IRAN ANNOUNCES CLOSURE OF THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The US and Iran conflict has now officially ENDED after 110 days.
The US and Iran have signed a 14-point Memorandum of Understanding to end the conflict, effective immediately.
1. A permanent ceasefire immediately on all fronts, including Lebanon. No more war or threats.
2. Respect for Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
3. Fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz for commercial trade.
4. Lift the US naval blockade against Iran.
5. Release Iranian assets that were frozen.
6. Exempt Iran's oil exports/sales from sanctions.
7. Iran commits never to produce or posse

UPDATE: US - Iran Reach Ceasefire Agreement
On the evening of June 14, President Trump announced “The Deal with Iran is now complete” – The agreement with Iran has been finalized.
Accordingly:
- The ceasefire has been extended by an additional 60 days
- The Hormuz Strait will be reopened to all ships
- The US will end the naval blockade against Iran
- The official signing ceremony is expected to take place on June 19 in Switzerland
Trump stated this is a major step toward ending the war. However, Israel remains concerned and continues military activities against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
