I think Variational marketing/comms should be seen as an example, they did everything perfectly :

> Executed everything on time
> Never tried to be loud, just stayed consistent
> Never oversold the product, if users like it they'll share it
> Listened to the community without ever losing focus
> Kept the biggest releases for right before TGE
If you do that, whatever you're building in crypto, you have a good chance of succeeding

When you've been in crypto for years, trading stocks seems so easy lol
> Everything is clear
> Nothing nukes
> Less long and short hunting
> A huge variety of assets, there's always something to long
I understand now why RWA trading is so hot rn, thanks to @variational_io for making it possible

When looking at perp dex tier lists, it seems like CT always makes the wrong choices because people focus on :
> % of supply for the airdrop
> Funding raises
> Hype around the project
> Past team experience
When they should focus on :
> What's the project differentiator?
> Does the team have the network to bring liquidity and partnerships?
> Are smart people following them?
> What's the team actual track record, not just having worked at Meta, but what they've actually built and accomplished?

Soon everyone will learn about RFQs because of Variational

If I had to focus on 2 narratives it would be
> Perp dex : Most revenue generating apps, still just getting started and might become the Trojan horse for blockchains
> Privacy : Still very early, the biggest players are already there but their volume will 100x iykyk

I think the best way to compare blockchains is to compare them to countries
They all have different cultures, politics, economies and industries
Since globalization, countries have focused on specialization because you can't do everything anymore, you need to be the best at something
I think the same thing is starting to happen with blockchains, with composability growing, general purpose chains bring less and less value, they all need to find their specialization
