Iranian President: Iran is committed to ending the war and has never sought to possess nuclear weapons

Golden Finance reports that on March 27, according to a statement from the Iranian Presidential Office, President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran stated during a phone call with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar that Iran is committed to fully ending the war and emphasized that Iran has never sought nuclear weapons. The statement said Raisi and Anwar discussed regional and international developments since the U.S.-Israel military action against Iran on February 28. Raisi pointed out that the allegations of Iran attempting to acquire nuclear weapons are an excuse for the illegal aggression by the U.S. and Israel. (CCTV News)
