Odaily Planet Daily reports that Standard Chartered has lowered its mid-term price expectations for Ethereum, reducing its 2026 year-end price forecast from previously $12,000 to $7,500, while also lowering its 2028 year-end forecast from $25,000 to $22,000. Global head of digital asset research Geoffrey Kendrick stated that given Bitcoin’s continued dominance in the space, its weaker-than-expected performance has dampened the outlook for all digital assets against the US dollar. The bank still expects Ethereum to surpass $40,000 by 2030, raising its long-term forecast from the previous $30,000. (Cointele)
