ChainCatcher reports that, according to Jintou, CME “Federal Reserve Watch” shows a 96% chance that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged until March, and a 4% chance of a 25 basis point cut. By April, the probability of a total 25 basis point cut is 17.3%, with an 82.1% chance of holding rates steady, and a 0.6% chance of a total 50 basis point cut. By June, the probability of a total 25 basis point cut rises to 43%.
